Pancreatic cancer message board Johns Hopkins provides this unmoderated message board for pancreatic cancer patients, their families, and friends.

Johns Hopkins Pancreas Cancer Web General information about pancreatic cancer as well as information about Johns Hopkin's latest research efforts into pancreatic cancer.

Hopkins Pancreatic Link Page Johns Hopkins also provides a good listing of links for information about pancreatic cancer, ways to find out PDQ information at NCI, and links to new research areas like genetic testing.

The Pancreatic Duct A good page developed by a pancreatic cancer patient with lots of links and resource information. He covers links from the NCI PDQ's on pancreatic cancer to information on clinical trial, support info, and topics like pain control and caregivers.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan) PanCan is a new organization that is the first patient based advocacy organization specifically focused on pancreatic cancer and gastrointestinal disease. PanCan's Mission Statement is: "The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), works to focus national attention on the need to find the cure for pancreatic cancer. We provide public and professional education that embraces the urgent need for more research, effective treatments, prevention programs, and early detection methods." Hirshberg Memorial Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and serving as an information/advocacy resource for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

It is a wild world of information for cancer on the web. The hard part is not finding links, but in finding ones that offer good information as opposed to hype. The best source of good links is you - so if you know a great page on cancer please let us know on our page.

People against Cancer
I love this organization. They are a clearing house for information on alternative and traditional treatments for cancer. The director, Frank Weiwel, is a font of information and very helpful. They have an alternative medicine program that researches for information on a type of cancer and gets consults from a few alternative practitioners.
